Garden is ready for summer 2025

Please note the following:

  • The hoses and watering wands are placed and connected

  • Water will be turned on in the next week or two when the Town’s maintenance director feels we are free of freeze-up danger.

  • The rain barrels have been placed and are waiting for a good rainfall to fill them up. If the rain barrels blow down (until they are full), please pick them up and re-seat them.

  • There is a small pile of topsoil near the asparagus bed that is first-come first first-served.  Help yourself until it is gone.

  • The signpost for the MCG is set, and we should get our new garden sign posted soon.

  • There is a milk crate in the shed that contains the fertilizers and measuring devices. Please feel free to use them once for your plot.  If you want to add additional N during the season, you will need to purchase that yourself.

  • Would the various committee heads make sure that the asparagus, rhubarb, and herb garden are also properly fertilized with N & K?
